Welcome to the Westport Swim Team!

We are excited for the 2025 swim season! We wanted to bring your attention to some important dates that are quickly approaching.

First Day of Practice: May 19^h

• Ages 5-8: 6:45-7:30pm
• Ages 9 & up 7:30-8:30pm

Refer to our entire practice schedule here. Attached you will find a practice and swim meet calendar. Please refer to Swimtopia for weather cancellations and delays. You can download the Swimtopia app and enable push notifications to receive team communication, such as weather delays and cancellations in real time.

Each week throughout our season we will have a Spirit Day. Our first Spirit Day will be the first day of practice. We will have hot cocoa available after that first cold swim! See attachment for our Spirit Day calendar.

Parent Meeting: Tuesday, May 20^th at 6:15pm at the Club

We will discuss everything swim team/meets, volunteer sign-ups and answer all your swim questions

Volunteer Sign Ups will open after the Parent Meeting

Each family is required to sign up for two volunteer slots before their swimmer can sign up for swim meets. To read about our different volunteer positions checkout https://westport.swimtopia.com/volunteer-positions. More info to come on how to sign up.

Swim Suits

Order your swimsuit and gear through our SwimOutlet Store (https://www.swimoutlet.com/collections/westportstingrays?groupid=25736&ref=SWIMTOPIA). There are a variety of suit options available. Pick the one your swimmer likes the best. We’ve also suggested our favorite swim gear and added some team spirit wear for the whole family (not required). There is a swimsuit fit kit available at the Club to help determine the best size suit for your swimmer.

Coaches

We’ve added two new coaches to our team! You can learn more about Coach Natalie and Coach Rebecca on our Swimtopia site under the About tab. We know they will be valuable additions. As always, we have a great group of junior coaches ready to help as well.
