Good Morning!

As you may have read during your registration, each family is required to sign up for two volunteer shifts at our swim meets this season. A shift is generally for half a swim meet and we have a variety of positions available. The stroke judge volunteer slot requires prior training per league rules. Stroke Judges must complete the training each season. I am DESPERATELY searching for at least three more stroke judge volunteers this season. Those volunteers will need to attend the training offered this Saturday, May 10th at 9am via Microsoft Teams. 

I attended the training on Tuesday. It was very informative and interesting. It took about 1.5 hours. Tom does a great job of breaking down exactly what you need to know without it becoming overwhelming. We also give you a cheat sheet for reference while on deck. You will get to learn more about our sport and have a front row seat to all the action. 

I am begging for three more parents to try out this volunteer position this season. Please respond to this email or email [email protected] if you are able to attend training and volunteer as a stroke judge.
