We had a great swim meet last night! Thank you to all the volunteers who made it possible. As a reminder, we do not have practice tomorrow, July 4th, due to the holiday. Below you will find the information for our Championship swim meet on Sunday

Volunteers

I am BEGGING for more volunteers. We still need 3 timers and a computer person. Please, please, please help us if you can!!! We are also looking for people to donate water and Gatorade to the league for a league fundraiser. All info can be found under the jobs link on the meet signup page of the website OR you can reach out to Coach Sara.

Warm Up

Arrive by 7:15. We need to be on deck ready for our warmup by 7:30. Our warmup time is 7:45-8:00. Meet start is 8:15. Looks like the estimated end time will be around 2:00pm.

Parking

I have attached the parking map. Do NOT park on Stonemont street behind the pool and do not park on the bridge on Devonshire - it is labeled on the map.

All funds earned go to NMSL (even though it says Birkdale). This money goes to paying for champs meet stroke judges, stroke judge training, league ribbons and port-a -potties needed for this swim meet.

There is also a 50/50 raffle and a T-shirt vendor will be onsite printing shirts for sale. That’s all the info I have on that right now.

Team Seating

See attached map for our seating area. If you have a tent, I would bring for shade.

What to bring

LOTS AND LOTS OF PATIENCE! Plan for the weather to be HOT and the day to be LONG. Bathing suit, googles, towels, sunscreen, shade, chairs, lots of water and snacks!

Food

Coffee truck will be available until 11 am

Chick-filet breakfast sandwiches (they go fast!) and donuts will be available for sale

Drinks and water will also be available for sale
