Swim Meet 6/18 - @ Home Vs Birkdale
Westport Warm up at 5p

  Birkdale is a large team and we expect to have a lot of swimmers at this meet. We would love to run this meet as fast as possible.  With that in mind, please encourage your swimmers to stay in the designated seating area, if possible, so we can gather them and they can hear the event numbers.  Also parents, please take note of the parent seating areas.  We will need to limit parent traffic in certain areas of the deck in order to run the meet efficiently.  We appreciate all your help and support with this!

Warmups: Westport 5-5:25pm Birkdale 5:25-5:50 pm

Meet Starts 6pm

Timers/Runners/Stroke and Turn Meeting 5:45 at Starter area

Seating/Clerk of Course  Parent seating for Westport AND Birkdale parents will be behind the club house on a concrete patio area, in addition to a limited space on the pool deck. Please bring chairs. No tents allowed on the pool deck. But there is room for tents in the patio area.

Swimmer seating for both teams will be on the pool deck. Please see map.

Parent access to the pool deck will be limited to help run the meet efficiently. Please sit only in designated parent seating areas.

The Clerk of Course will be located near the slides..

Food and Drinks

Absolutely no outside alcohol. All alcohol must be purchased in the clubhouse according to NC ABC laws. We have a wide selection of wine and beer for sale, as well as non-alcoholic options as well.

Clubhouse will be serving pizza, BBQ, burgers, hotdogs, chicken salad sandwiches, corn dogs, nachos, soft pretzels, ice cream and candy and a variety of non alcoholic beverages.

Dry adult customers please order food inside, at the bar. All wet customers- please use the outside window.

Cash preferred, $20 minimum on card transactions.

Parking - NO street parking on Shanklin Lane or Golf Course Drive.

There will be a drop off circle in the club parking lot near the pickle ball courts. Parking attendants will direct traffic. Once the parking lot is full, cars will be directed to the golf course parking lot (located on Golf Course Drive S.). There is a walkway from the golf course parking lot to the main parking lot for easy walking access.

Volunteers-Check in table for both teams located on deck near clubhouse

Timer/Runners- 1^st and 2^nd shift – meet at 5:45 near the starting area.
Stroke and Turn Judges- 1^st and 2^nd shift- Meet near starting area at 5:45

All Pickle Ball and Tennis Courts are closed to swimmers and parents.
Restrooms are located downstairs at the clubhouse.
Baby pool is closed during swim meet/warm ups.
