Welcome to Westport Swim Team!

We are excited for the 2023 swim season! This year brings with it some new excitement as we have joined the North Meck Swim League. Our competition this year includes Birkdale, Latta Springs/Stephens Grove, Stanley and Cowans Ford.

Our coaching staff has also grown this year. We have the following coaches joining us: Head Coaches: Kim Beeker and Julia Henley. Assistant coaches: Gabby, Ava, Housten, Jack, Matt, Travis and Aubrey.

As you may have noticed, we are no longer using Swimmingly as our meet manager and have transitioned to using Swimtopia. While Swimmingly has served us well, we are excited to transition to Swimtopia in order to be on the same platform as the other teams in our new league. We have enjoyed learning about the exciting opportunities for meet management through Swimtopia and Meet Maestro. All team information and communication will come through our website (https://westport.swimtopia.com/). You will also use this website to sign up for swim meets and volunteer slots, as well as view meet results and team records. Please download the Swimtopia app and enable push notifications to receive team communication, such as weather delays and cancellations in real time.

Request: to meet the greater demands of this busy season, we are asking that all families sign up for two volunteer spots before our season begins. Your swimmer(s) will not be able to sign up for any swim meet until you have chosen your two volunteer slots. To sign up for a volunteer spot, click the green button that says ‘job signup’ beside each swim meet. Your two volunteer spots can be spread over two different swim meets or two time slots during a single swim meet. Only parents trained as stroke judges will be able signup for stroke judge positions. • May 22^nd: First Practice and Suit Fitting
• Suit Fitting – 5 pm – 8 pm
• Ages 5-8 Practice – 6 pm – 6:45 pm
• Ages 9+ Practice – 6:45 pm – 7:45 pm
• May 30^th: Deadline to sign up for 2 volunteer spots
• June 3^rd: First Swim Meet
